My art is guided by the ideas of memento mori (“remember your death”) and memento viverie (“remember to live”). These reminders help me explore the cycles of life, death, pain, growth, and healing — finding beauty in both the light and the dark. Flowers, animals, and natural elements often appear in my work as metaphors for resilience and transformation. Every piece begins with a carefully planned sketch that helps me shape both meaning and composition with intention.
Through my art, I hope to create more than something beautiful to look at. I want each piece to feel like a quiet moment of connection — a reflection of how fragile and extraordinary life can be when we truly remember to live.
Skulls and Blossoms
I paint skulls and flowers to honor the delicate dance between life and death. Skulls remind us of our impermanence; flowers celebrate life’s fleeting beauty. Together, they tell a quiet story of growth, loss, and renewal — a gentle reminder to live fully, even in the face of fragility.
