Warm up with creativity! In this one-hour class, young artists will paint a charming bear enjoying a cup of hot cocoa using acrylic paints. We’ll explore color blending, layering, and brush techniques to create a cozy, whimsical painting full of personality. Each student will leave with a finished artwork perfect for winter décor or gifting! Each registration includes a small Hot Chocolate from the Reeves House!

Create a wise and whimsical owl! In this one-hour class,  artists will use painted papers and collage techniques to design their own colorful owls. We’ll explore layering, texture, and composition to bring these feathered friends to life. Each student will leave with a unique, vibrant owl artwork full of personality and charm!

Bring your imagination to bloom! In this one-hour class, young artists will create vibrant floral bouquets using watercolors and collage techniques. We’ll explore color blending, layering, and playful design to make whimsical flowers that pop off the page. Get ready to fall in love with printmaking—no press required! In this one-hour Gel-Plate printing workshop, you’ll create layered, texture-rich prints using paint, stencils, and found objects. Roll it on, press it down, pull it up… and boom—instant art magic.

This class is all about playful experimentation and happy surprises. There’s no “right way” to do it, making it perfect for beginners and seasoned creatives alike. You’ll learn simple techniques for layering color, creating patterns, and building bold, expressive prints you can take home and turn into finished artwork later.

Put the paintbrush down and pick up a squeegee! In this high-energy, one-hour painting workshop, you’ll create a bold abstract masterpiece using unexpected tools and fearless color. We’ll swipe, drag, and layer acrylic paint across the canvas to create vibrant blends, cool textures, and totally one-of-a-kind results.

In this fun and imaginative class, kids will learn how to create their very own comic books! Young artists will explore storytelling through pictures by designing characters, inventing stories, and laying out comic panels. We’ll cover the basics of comics—panels, speech bubbles, expressions, and action lines—while encouraging creativity and confidence.

MAY 16, 10:30 AM ($35)

Learn how to mix vibrant, harmonious watercolor colors while avoiding muddy washes. Students will explore color theory basics, practice mixing from a limited palette, and discover how water control affects color intensity and transparency. This class is a great skill-builder for all levels and helps artists gain confidence in creating clean, expressive color combinations.Feel free to bring any watercolor materials you may already have, not required.
